Smooth Finishes

Smooth finishes are painted on existing smooth surfaces and retain a fairly smooth surface after application. Strie is a delicate finish that provides a subtle, yet interesting finish and makes a lovely addition in rooms decorated with visually active patterned fabrics, wood and wall decor. More visually textural finishes, like stone, woodgraining and Venetian plaster, offer a more dramatic dimensional look. Ragged and brushed finishes can be subtle or bold, depending on the color, contrast and pattern. Ceiling medallions, cover plates, curtain rods, finials and rings, decorative accessories, and architectural and wall decor items are painted in the studio and shipped to the customer upon completion. Progress photos of work produced in the studio are routinely e-mailed to the client for approval and input.
