Stone Finishes

Stone finishes are painted on smooth surfaces to emulate real or fantasy stones, including marble, granite, and limestone. Surfaces can be painted, often referred to as marbling, to compliment existing stone, which is especially beneficial if the stone is no longer quarried. Marbled finishes work especially well on smaller surfaces such as table tops and base and crown molding, where using real stone is visually practical, but may be weight or cost prohibitive. Decorative Finishes Ltd. will paint these finishes on site or can paint them in the studio and ship them, when possible. Progress photos of work produced in the studio are routinely e-mailed to the client for approval and input.
